Cross Road Rent-A-Space, a 90,000sf climate controlled self storage facility located in Waterford CT, represents a signature completed development project for Dunn Associates.

Starting with the existing facility, comprised of a few buildings containing traditional storage units, we designed and managed the process of building and adding 2 new multi-floored, climate controlled self storage buildings. The project was sensitive to the environmental and aesthetic needs of the town with the creation of a vibrant wetland and dramatically improved landscaping.

In addition to developing sites for the creation of new businesses, Michael Dunn has been very active in preserving land to create Open Space for the enjoyment of present and future generations. In 2000, Michael, along with Marvin Schutt, co-founded the non-profit "The Friends of the Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve" - and organization that he is still actively involved in. Mike is currently designing and building trails for the Waterford Land Trust.
